ALIPHATIC PU RESIN-BASED FLOOR PAINT
VKFLEX FLOOR PAINT 2K, ALIPHATIC POLYURETHANE RESIN-BASED floor paint, is a durable and long-lasting coating type frequently preferred in industrial and commercial areas. One of the most prominent features of ALIPHATIC POLYURETHANE floor paints is their high resistance to UV rays and chemical substances. Thanks to these properties, its use is quite common, especially in outdoor areas and areas exposed to heavy traffic. Additionally, it is highly resistant to scratches and abrasions that may occur on the surface. Therefore, it is preferred in high-use areas such as gyms, parking lots, factories, and shopping centers. Its easy-to-clean structure also makes it attractive for use in environments requiring hygiene.
The application surface must be free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances to ensure strong adhesion. The cleaning process should not be done with water. Any loose substrates and deep cracks should be identified and necessary repairs should be performed. Before application, surfaces should be primed with VKFLEX FLOOR PRIMER 2K with a consumption of 250-400 gr per m².
VKFLEX FLOOR PAINT 2K is a two-component product. Before use, components A and B must be mixed homogeneously at low speed for 4-5 minutes with a suitable mixer, followed by application. The prepared mixture must be consumed within 5-6 hours. Application can be done using a roller, brush, spray, etc. equipment. For the second coat application, the waiting time between coats should be a minimum of 7 hours and a maximum of 24 hours. It is suitable for pedestrian traffic 1-4 hours after drying. Mechanical and chemical resistance is achieved at the end of 7 days. Drying times may vary according to ambient temperature and relative humidity.
