Description

STONE UV 1K is a HYBRID RESIN-BASED, physical-drying, transparent, and glossy floor coating product with mechanical and chemical resistance. Thanks to its UV resistance and durability against outdoor conditions, it does not yellow and is scratch-resistant. It adheres strongly to the applied surface and maintains its durability for many years. With its waterproofing properties, it can be applied to surfaces such as ceramics, tiles, granite, and marble in wet areas. It can also be used on painted surfaces to protect the paint, keep it clean, and provide a glossy finish. Its single-component and ready-to-use nature provides ease of application.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

The application surface must be free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances to ensure strong adhesion. Any loose substrates and deep cracks should be identified and necessary repairs should be performed. It should not be applied to damp or wet surfaces.

Application Method

VKFLEX STONE UV 1K is a single-component and ready-to-use product. Before use, it should be mixed with a suitable mixer for 4-5 minutes, followed by application. The application should be performed as a single coat for non-absorbent surfaces such as ceramic and tile, and in two coats for absorbent surfaces, using an epoxy roller, brush, spray, etc. equipment. The first coat should be applied thinly and worked into the surface. The waiting time between coats must be at least 12 hours. It reaches touch-dry in 30 minutes and dust-free dry in 1 hour. Full drying occurs after 24 hours. Mechanical and chemical resistance is achieved within 3-5 days.
