EPOXY FLOOR PRIMER

Description

VKFLEX FLOOR PRIMER 2K is an epoxy resin-based, two-component, transparent floor primer with excellent adhesion and high penetration properties. By strengthening the surface it is applied to, it provides a qualified substrate preparation for subsequently applied epoxy and polyurethane paints.

Priming of concrete, screed, ceramic, tile, and similar surfaces
On metal surfaces before topcoat application
To strengthen the substrate before EPOXY and PU paint applications

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

Application surfaces must be free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances, and must be dry and clean. Loose substrates and deep cracks should be identified, and necessary repairs should be performed. During application, ensure the dew point is at least +3 °C above the surface temperature.

Application Method

VKFLEX FLOOR PRIMER 2K is a two-component product. During mixture preparation, ensure the product temperature range is between 15 – 25 °C. Component B should then be added to Component A and mixed at low speeds for 2 – 3 minutes without entraining air until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. It can be applied using a roller, brush, trowel, or similar equipment. The prepared mixture must be consumed within 30 – 40 minutes.
