Description

VKFLEX PRIMER COAT is an acrylic resin-based, water-based primer with high adhesion properties, specifically developed for non-absorbent glossy surfaces such as ceramics and tiles. By adhering strongly to the applied surface, it prepares a waterproof and qualified substrate for subsequent insulation products. Thanks to its textured structure, it enables acrylic and cement-based products to be applied and to bond firmly to the surface.

Preparation of substrates before insulation on surfaces such as ceramics, tiles, etc.
As an insulation and transition primer in tile-over-tile applications
Before floor paint applications on glossy surfaces

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

Application surfaces must be free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances, and must be dry and clean. Loose substrates and deep cracks should be identified, and necessary repairs should be performed.

Application Method

VKFLEX PRIMER COAT Glossy Surface Insulation Primer is a single-component and ready-to-use product. It should be mixed homogeneously for 4-5 minutes before use, followed by application. The application should be done in a single coat using equipment such as rollers or brushes, with a consumption of 200-250 gr per m². Insulation application can be started 4-6 hours after the primer application.
