Description

VKFLEX AQUA POOL PAINT is a polyurethane resin-based, two-component pool paint with high alkali and chlorine resistance. It creates a seamless and blue appearance on the applied surface. It has a tough-elastic structure that is unaffected by UV rays, pool chemicals, and water pressure. It is suitable for use in ceramic-coated pools or pools where ceramic coating is not desired.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

Application surfaces must be free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances, and must be dry and clean. Loose substrates and deep cracks should be identified, and necessary repairs should be carried out. Before application, surfaces should be primed with VKFLEX FLOOR PRIMER 2K with a consumption of 250 – 400 gr per m².

Application Method

VKFLEX AQUA POOL PAINT is a two-component product. First, component A should be mixed within itself using a low-speed mixer, then component B should be added to component A and mixed for 3 – 4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The prepared mixture must be consumed within 5 – 6 hours. Application should be done in 2 coats using equipment such as rollers, brushes, or sprays. The waiting time between coats should be a minimum of 7 hours and a maximum of 24 hours. After application, the product should be allowed to reach mechanical and chemical resistance, and the pool should be filled with water at the end of 7 days.
