EPOXY RESIN-BASED TOPCOAT PAINT
VKFLEX BATHTUB PAINT is an epoxy resin-based, two-component topcoat product developed for the renovation of acrylic bathtubs and shower trays, offering high mechanical and chemical resistance. It adheres strongly to the applied surface, does not yellow, and is scratch-resistant. Thanks to its waterproofing properties, it can be applied to surfaces such as ceramics, tiles, granite, and marble in wet rooms.
The surface to be treated with VKFLEX BATHTUB PAINT must be free of dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances to ensure strong adhesion. Surfaces should be roughened using fine-grit sandpaper.
VKFLEX BATHTUB PAINT is a two-component product. Before use, Component A should be mixed for 2-3 minutes, then Component B should be added and mixed for 4-5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Application can be done in 2 coats using equipment such as epoxy rollers, brushes, or sprays. The first coat should be applied thinly and worked into the surface. The waiting time between coats should be a minimum of 12 hours. It reaches touch-dry in 30 minutes and dust-free dry in 1 hour. Full drying occurs after 24 hours. Mechanical and chemical resistance is achieved at the end of 3-5 days. The environment must be ventilated during application.
