ELASTIC REPAIR PUTTY
VKFLEX RS FIX-50 is an acrylic polymer-based, water-based, and solvent-free filling and repair putty. It adheres strongly to the applied surface and serves as a leak-proof filler by remaining in a continuously elastic structure. It features a structure that is unaffected by UV rays and weather conditions.
Application surfaces must be free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances and must be clean. Cracks should be widened in necessary cases to increase surface adhesion.
VKFLEX RS FIX-50 ELASTIC REPAIR PUTTY is single-component and ready to use. The product should be mixed for 2 – 3 minutes before use, followed by application. Application can be performed using a spatula, trowel, refillable sealant gun, or brush. It is recommended to use a PE backer rod in deep cracks and dilatations. In detail joints such as parapets, chimney bases, and chamfers, it is advised to use it together with a reinforcement mesh. Filling should not exceed 5 mm in a single application.
