TRAPEZOIDAL SHEET METAL PAINT

Description

VKFLEX TRAPAINT TP-200 is a solvent-containing, physical-drying, and single-component specialty paint developed for trapezoidal sheet metal, sandwich panels, and metal surfaces. In addition to its strong adhesion to the applied surface, it has excellent resistance to outdoor weather conditions and UV rays. Thanks to its tough-elastic structure, it is not affected by metal expansions and protects the applied surface from water, moisture, and corrosion.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

The application surface must be free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances, and must be dry and clean. Rusty surfaces should be cleaned as much as possible. For strong and long-lasting adhesion, it is recommended to roughen painted and glossy surfaces with sandpaper.

Application Method

VKFLEX TRAPAINT TP-200 is a single-component product. It should be mixed with a low-speed mixer for 2-3 minutes before use. Then, it should be diluted with cellulosic thinner at a rate of 10% for roller applications and 20% for spray gun applications, mixed again with a low-speed mixer for 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, and then applied. Application can be done in 2-3 coats using a roller, brush, or spray equipment. The waiting time between coats should be 4-6 hours. It reaches touch-dry in 30 minutes and dust-free dry in 1 hour. Final drying occurs after 24 hours. Equipment can be cleaned with cellulosic solvents after application.
