THERMAL INSULATION COATING

Description

THERMAL POWER is a liquid thermal insulation coating containing special nano-microspheres. It is an elastomeric resin-based, water-based product with a low thermal conductivity coefficient that also provides water and sound insulation. Thanks to its specialized content, it dissipates radiant heat, protecting structures from the cold in winter and the heat in summer, thus contributing to energy savings. Its tintable feature allows it to function as a topcoat paint, eliminating additional painting costs. It is easy to apply and does not add extra weight to the structures.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

The application surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances. Loose substrates and deep cracks should be identified, and necessary repairs should be made. Before starting the VKFLEX THERMAL POWER application, VKFLEX BINDERCOAT-7 PRIMER should be diluted with water at a 1/5 ratio and applied as a single coat. The surface should be left to dry for 3 – 4 hours.

Application Method

THERMAL POWER is single-component and ready to use. It should be mixed with a suitable mixer for 4 – 5 minutes before starting the application. It should be used without any water dilution. It should be applied in 2 – 3 coats, perpendicular to each other, using equipment such as rollers or brushes. Consumption should be 300 ml per m² for interior applications and 1 liter per m² for exterior applications. The waiting time between coats should be 4 hours.
