CARBON REINFORCED LIQUID RUBBER WATERPROOFING COATING

DESCRIPTION

VKFLEX AQUA RUBBER K-400 is a nano-technological waterproofing coating produced from carbon-reinforced Elastomeric Rubber. It possesses excellent water resistance and an elastic structure. VKFLEX AQUA RUBBER K-400 rapidly penetrates the applied surface, forming a seamless, monolithic, and strong layer. It is solvent-free and eco-friendly. It maintains a permanently elastic structure and is resistant to freeze-thaw cycles. It can be applied to all types of dry and damp surfaces.

Application Information

Surface Preparation

Surfaces to be treated must be cleaned and free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances. Loose substrates and deep cracks should be identified and necessary repairs must be carried out. Before proceeding with AQUA RUBBER K-400 application, VKFLEX BINDERCOAT should be diluted with water at a 1:5 ratio and applied as a single coat. The surface should be left to dry for 3-4 hours.

Application Method

AQUA RUBBER K-400 is single-component and ready to use. It should be mixed with a suitable mixer for 4-5 minutes before starting the application. It should be applied in 2-3 coats, perpendicular to each other, with a consumption of 750 gr – 1 kg per square meter, using equipment such as rollers or brushes. The waiting time between coats should be 4 hours.
