Product Description

RUBBERFLEX K-500 is a nano-technological waterproofing coating produced by special methods from 100% Liquefied Rubber Elastomer. Thanks to its hydrophobic structure, it has excellent water resistance. It is resistant to acids, bases, chemicals, and seawater. It forms a durable, elastic, and seamless layer on the applied surface. It is UV resistant. It is not affected by the freeze-thaw cycle, especially in cold climate regions. It is solvent-free and eco-friendly. It can be applied to all kinds of dry and damp surfaces.

Application Information

Surface Preparation

The surfaces to be applied must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil, and other foreign substances. Loose grounds and deep cracks should be identified, and necessary repairs should be made. Before applying VKFLEX RUBBERFLEX K-500, VKFLEX BINDERCOAT-7 should be diluted with water at a ratio of 1:5 and applied in a single coat. The surface should be left to dry for 3-4 hours.

Application Method

VKFLEX RUBBERFLEX K-500 is single-component and ready to use. It should be mixed with a suitable mixer for 4-5 minutes before starting the application. It should be applied in 2-3 coats, perpendicular to each other, with a consumption of 750 gr – 1 kg per m², using equipment such as rollers or brushes. The waiting time between coats should be 4 hours.
